“We are postponing Propak West Africa due to the ongoing global uncertainty with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.”

George Pearson, Regional Director- West Africa, Afrocet Montgomery, the organizer of the annual industry event for packaging, printing and plastics professionals, said in an update on Propak West Africa 2020.

In recent weeks we have been in touch with many of our stakeholders and after listening carefully to your concerns and that of our entire community, it is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we must inform you of the postponements.

While Nigeria is easing lockdown in light of heavy economic burdens – social distancing, continued flight restrictions and the ongoing uncertainty on when large scale events can take place again, has put understandable unease on many of our exhibitors both locally and internationally as well as speakers and visitors who an unsure on their ability to travel.

It is for these reasons that we feel the best decision for the Propak West Africa community is to postpone the event this year and the next edition will take place from 14 – 16 September 2021, at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.
